The San Diego Marriott Marquis is connected to the Convention Center by a walkway from the hotel’s main lobby. The San Diego International Airport (SAN) is about two miles away and is accessible by taxi, bus (Greyhound Transit station is about .8 miles away), train (about .7 miles from hotel) and other shuttle services. In addition, “Shuttle for Hire,” located outside baggage claim, is available for $8 per person each way. It runs frequently throughout the day to various hotels. This hotel does not provide shuttle services to and from the airport; however, for your convenience please see our travel center below for additional information.

The Manchester is about a 10-minute walk (.5 mile) from the San Diego Convention Center and is a 10-minutes drive (3.3 miles) from the San Diego International Airport (SAN). The hotel is accessible by taxi, shuttle services and train station (located five blocks from hotel) from the airport.

Ground Transportation
There are several transportation companies that provide shuttle service from the San Diego International Airport to the PDC hotels. These are a shared ride service and shuttles may make several stops at other hotels before reaching the PDC hotel.
Upon arrival, visit the Transportation Plaza across from Terminals 1 and 2 via the skybridge and curbside at the commuter terminal. Take the escalator or elevator to the street level, or use the pedestrian crosswalk located outside the Terminal 2 baggage claim area to access the Transportation Plaza. A Transportation Coordinator will place you with the first available shuttle, unless you specify a particular shuttle company.
For your return trip, simply call the shuttle company at least 24 hours prior to departure to make a reservation. You may also have the hotel Concierge Desk help you with your return travel arrangements.

Business casual attire is appropriate for all conference activities. Since meeting room temperatures vary, we recommend you bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions. San Diego’s average high temperature in June is 71° and the average low is 61°. Temperatures may vary from day to day so please dress accordingly.
