AGA’s PDC offers 24 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours. For more information about speakers and session descriptions, please refer to the conference agenda.

Prerequisites/Learning Objectives

The conference level is intermediate and all education sessions are presented in group-live format with no self-study required. It is expected that all participants are at least at a mid-level within an organization; have knowledge, skill and ability commensurate with that level and have operational and/or supervisory responsibilities. Each session is predicated on building/enhancing on a basic program appropriate for CPAs and/or CGFMs with detailed knowledge in the respective fields of study.

Taken as a whole, the conference learning objectives are to be a thoughtful, reflective process that addresses each participant’s current and future professional plans, current knowledge and skills level and desired or required additional competence to achieve future work opportunities and/or professional responsibilities. It is expected that participants consider these objectives as they deliberate over which education sessions they choose to attend and how the information they obtain can improve and enhance their knowledge base and professional stature.

CPE Tracking Process

AGA scans name badges at the end of each presentation and will use this information to tally your educational session attendance and create your CPE form.

Online CPE forms will be available five to seven days after the conference. Remember, only registrants who pay to attend the full conference are eligible for CPE hours. In addition, CPE forms will only be approved and processed for registrations that are paid in full.

If you have any questions, or need more information regarding AGA’s CPE process or administrative policies such as complaints, refunds and cancellations, please contact meetings@agacgfm.org.
